Who we are
This website, hoofbeats.eu (the “Site”), is operated by Vladislav Velkov, Wild At Heart Ranch, 82 Stara Planina, Belish, 5600 Troyan, Bulgaria (“we”, “us”), the controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp at +44 7557 767676.
Information we collect
The Site has no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no online booking. The only personal information we collect through the Site is what you send us with the request form.
If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share with us (for example your name, phone number and your message). We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and to organize your ride (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.; its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
Request form and Static Forms
Every page of the Site has a request form. To send it you must confirm with a checkbox that you have read this privacy policy.
What we receive
Your name, e-mail address, phone number and message, the page and language from which you sent the form, the offer you were looking at (if any) and your confirmation of this privacy policy.
Service provider: Static Forms
The form is processed by the service Static Forms (staticforms.dev). When you press “Send”, your entries go directly from your browser to Static Forms, which checks them for spam and forwards them to us by e-mail. For delivery and spam protection Static Forms also processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the time of the submission. Static Forms works for us as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) and stores the submissions in our account. Our Static Forms account stores its data in the EU, in Frankfurt (Germany). The privacy policy of Static Forms applies in addition.
Who reads your request
Vlad, and the web agency that runs this website for us and passes your request on to him. We do not use your details for advertising and do not pass them on to anyone else.
Legal basis and storage
We process your details to answer your request and, if you book, to organize your ride (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on the basis of your consent given with the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by WhatsApp or phone. We delete your request, in Static Forms and in our mailbox, as soon as it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Cookies & local storage
The Site does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics services. A single technical entry is saved in your browser's local storage when you dismiss the contact popup, so it stays closed on your next visit. This entry never leaves your device, contains no personal information and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.
Hosting: Cloudflare
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical access data (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, date and time) to deliver the Site quickly and to protect it against attacks. Cloudflare serves the Site from its worldwide network of data centres, so this data may also be processed in the USA. Cloudflare takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Sharing & sale of information
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We have not sold personal information at any time in the past twelve months.
External links
The Site links to external websites (for example WhatsApp). When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective operator applies. We have no influence on how external sites process your data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Bulgaria the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg). Because we collect virtually no personal information through the Site, there is normally little for us to disclose or delete, but you are welcome to contact us with any privacy question at the number above.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Rides for children and youth are arranged exclusively with a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version with its effective date is always published on this page.
